The Collectible Edit | COMO collection by LEFEBVRE | LANNAUX debuts at Collectible 2026

Last year during Antwerp Design week I discovered the work by Lefebvre | Lannaux and I was instantly impressed by their aesthetic design and use of materials. At Collectible 2026 in Brussels they presented two new collector pieces: COMO wall and COMO console, continuing their research into proportion, material origin, and the dialogue between architecture, craftsmanship, and visual art.

Driven by a shared architectural vision, designers Corentin Lefèbvre, Maxim Lannaux and Frédéric Lefèbvre create pieces where aesthetics and functionality come together. Their collaboration began through a shared interest in interior design during their studies at Thomas More University College in Mechelen and later architecture at Sint-Lucas School of Architecture in Ghent.

From a young age, Corentin and Maxim were interested in craftsmanship and natural materials. Corentin often assisted his father Frédéric in his carpentry workshop, known for custom woodwork for Belgian artists. Maxim grew up in a family business in Belgian forestry, which gives Lefebvre Lannaux access to high-quality types of wood from Belgium.

All creations by Lefebvre Lannaux are conceived and developed in their studio in Antwerp and produced in their workshop in Mechelen.

COMO console

COMO console introduces a collaboration with ceramic artist Karen Verlinden. Her layered ceramic elements bring a tactile, sculptural dimension to the architectural structure of the furniture, creating a hybrid object where design and ceramic sculpture converge.

COMO wall

COMO wall draws on the designers’ personal histories. Maxim Lannaux uses wood harvested by his father in the Sonian Forest, while Corentin Lefebvre integrates linen painter’s canvas from his father’s framing workshop. The piece references the architecture of ecclesiastical polyptychs and follows the duo’s characteristic 5:8 proportional system.
