Zara Home+ by Vincent Van Duysen

Zara Home+ by Vincent Van Duysen

Previously I showed you ‘The living room collection’, the first collection by Vincent van Duysen for Zara Home in this article: Vincent van Duysen for Zara Home

Recently a second and third collection which I will show you in a next post, was launched with a range dedicated to the dining room, an ode to the joy of  living life with balance and at a gentler pace, For this Vincent Van Duysen has reworked materials and nuances of items from his archive to create a  dining room series made with select woods and exquisite textures, with tactile materials and finishes.

“It feels like a home coming – the dimensions, sensorial aspects, the look and feel all reflect my work,” explains the Belgian designer and architect. “It’s my DNA merged with Zara Home.”

All natural materials and beautiful details

Designed to transition between a cabinet and a beautiful sideboard we see a wooden cabinet with beautiful detailing across the hinges and on the legs, that can be placed everywhere in the home.  For this collection beautiful natural materials are used such as, solid oak and ash, campaspero limestone, leather, linen, cotton, wool, and natural jute.

Details include the iconic dining table, part of Vincent’s world from the early beginning, in two different sizes and a further two round dining tables with strong individual identities. Collection 02 also includes armchairs, a love seat, 1-, 2-, 3-seater sofas, side tables, a console/desk, dining chairs, stools, carpets, table lamps, glassware, tableware, flatware, vases, candles, and home diffusers.
