Cracked stone benchtops, an incomplete paint job from years ago and insufficient storage prompted the owners of this Hawthorn East apartment to seek a total kitchen makeover.
Keeping the bones of the space intact, the team at Summit Kitchens upgraded the features, finessed the finishes and refined the overall aesthetic to create an elevated and user-friendly space flooded with light and full of storage.
Consistency is integral to this elegant, monochromatic design. The upgrade features waterfall benchtops, LED lighting, 30mm shadow lines and full-height white cabinetry. Semi-integrated appliances provide minimal interruption of the clean design, and the addition of a window above the counter pulls the courtyard greenery inside. The natural white and subtle grey benchtop provides a low-key contrast in keeping with the whitewashed palette.
Chrome accents are uniform across the handles, basins, appliances, pendant lights and even bar stools. No detail has been missed in this kitchen that stands out for its uncompromising simplicity.
