Last week we shared our bedroom transformation (x2) and this week we complete the adjoining ensuite’s for each. Continuing the colour rich, nature inspired themes of the blue ocean room and green bush room, we set out to find the perfect finishes to bring these bathrooms to life.
Taking inspiration from the Prahran House, I wanted to introduce colourful kit kat tiles into each ensuite to create an impactful and sensory feeling. Adding to the texture with warm blackbutt timber, matte black and limestone. Brushed Pure Gold finishes created warmth and cohesive link to the rest of the bathroom interiors.
To complement the colour of the bedrooms, we customised the Coogee tiles from Tile Cloud with new Ocean Blue and Forest Green colours. To balance the busy, small nature of these kit kat tiles we opted for large 600mm square floor tiles in Mornington Limestone look ivory. Wanting to make these bathrooms unique, we leant into a different material palette with blackbutt timber in the Kado Arc vanity and matt black Alape feature basin. The consistent element that has flowed throughout all the bathrooms in this beach house is the Scala LUX PVD finish in Brushed Pure Gold from Reece.
