Ruth and Lamar: Lauxmont Farm Wedding
I don’t know where to begin with this day, and I’m sure that nothing I say is going to do it justice. But I’ll start by saying Ruth and Lamar are some of our very favorite people on the planet. Ruth has been a friend of mine for years and to see her this happy and as a bride was overwhelming in all the best ways!! She could not have been more radiant or more beautiful! I definitely fogged up my viewfinder multiple times throughout the day from all the happy tears! And goodness, I can’t imagine anyone more perfect for her than Lamar. Honestly, he is as sweet and kind as he looks, takes such good care of her, and just the perfect gentleman. We love them both endlessly!!
Their wedding day was so them, and SO STUNNING. If you follow us on Instagram, you already know that their were two dresses and multiple pairs of shoes “because why choose just one dress if you love two” (very Ruth, and one of the reasons I love her so much). The venue was on top of the mountain over-looking the river, the weather was literal perfection, the reception smelled amazing thanks to the dozens of peonies and lilacs, and the cocktail hour and reception were under the twinkling lights at golden hour. A REAL LIFE FAIRYTALE. I love that the happy shines through so brightly in these images, and it goes without saying, narrowing the images down for the blog was an impossible task, so here are lots of my favorites.
